Purpose-Built Indoor Hutch
Providing the right facilities for all types of small animals, we give high priority to stimulation, foraging, and social contact for your pet’s happiness and general wellbeing. We provide quality accessories and also keep our hutch clean with Defra-approved disinfectant before and after each pet’s stay.

Please note that small furries – such as hamsters, degus, rats, gerbils, and mice – only board in their own cages.
Feeding Care
We provide a high-quality complete diet containing balanced amounts of protein, carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals, we ensure fresh water and forage is available daily. Additionally, any fruit and vegetables are thoroughly washed before feeding. If you desire, we will use your own supply of feed and accessories to ensure your pet does not suffer any stress from change.
Collection and Delivery
We offer a collection and delivery service for all small animals throughout North Lancashire and the surrounding areas in our own chauffeured vehicle. Charges are available on request and bookings must be made in advance.
Health and Vaccinations
We ask that you mention any recent injury, illness, or any disability when you leave your pet with us. Bespoke requests including treatments or medicines are administered as per your veterinary surgeon’s instructions. No extra charge is made for this service. We will always ensure that they receive that special care for their condition.

Rabbits
For the welfare and protection of your rabbit, it is advised they are vaccinated against Myxomatosis and viral haemorrhagic disease VHD and VHD2, there must be a two-week gap between vaccinations. Rabbits will require a booster every 12 months of MYX/VHD and VHD2.
Please bring your veterinary certificate of inoculation along with you when dropping off your rabbit for boarding. Your pet will not mix with other boarders (to minimise the risk of infection) except for its own family and will be health checked daily.
Therefore, we will not be held responsible for any illness such as Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD), flystrike, mites, and/or any common disease. It is also important that your rabbit has regular worming treatments, so please supply information of recent treatment dates and the products used.
Your pet should be in good health and well-groomed on arrival, we will check your pet’s health, condition, and coat condition, we reserve the right to turn away any sick pet or pets in poor condition, we kindly ask you to ensure your Rabbits bottom area is clean and faeces free prior to boarding.

Ferrets and Polecats
A current veterinary certificate of inoculation must be produced for inspection on your pet’s arrival.
All ferrets and polecats must have been vaccinated for canine distemper within the last two years.
Safety, Security and Insurance
All small animals boarding with us are covered by our fully comprehensive insurance for the duration of their stay. For the safety and security of your pet, we ask that all pets are brought into reception in an adequate secure cage or animal carrier.
